We will require Respondus Lockdown browser for every exam and quiz in the course.

You will need a personal device; a library loaned device will not work because you will require administrator privileges to install and run this browser.

Also this works on laptops and some tablets, like iPads, but not on mobile phones. To get started, go to our Brightspace page, and navigate to the Quizzes section. There you will find an (ungraded) quiz named “Lockdown Browser Testing Quiz” . You should see in it the installation link and instructions.

Once installed, you may need to grant some OS‑level permissions. After the setup is complete, test the browser by going to the same quiz and try taking it.

Although you will only need to do it once, its a good idea to make sure the browser is up and running before every exam.
